Added Electric Heaters to Our Arsenal

Heat is the best option to eradicate bed bugs. We were the 1st company to start treating bed bugs with heat and we are still the best.

We keep growing and expanding our bed bug heat division and last fall we added electric heaters to our heat arsenal. This allows us to better serve each customer and meet their needs. We now have both propane and electric heating options. They both have advantages and disadvantages but we now have the flexibility to do whatever would be best for every situation.

We really enjoy helping homeowners and businesses eliminate their bed bug problems. It is a pleasure to serve the community with such a fantastic and needed service.

Bed Bug Calls Up 200% Over Last Year

Bed bug infestations have been increasing in Utah exponentially over the past few years. In 2006 we received our first phone call for bed bugs. Honestly we had no idea what to do. We opened a few of our pest control books from our library and read about the pest.

Now, things are very different. We are now one of the top bed bug professionals in the nation. We have devoted thousands of hours to research, study, seminars, hands on experience, treatments, and hard work. We were the first in Utah with a bed bug detection canine and also the first in Utah with heat treatments. We have heated thousands of rooms successfully. We have also taken the time to study the behaviors of our live colonies of bed bugs.

The number of calls is also very different. We now receive bed bug calls every day. We are doing heat treatments for bed bugs almost every day. The number of bed bugs infestations in Utah is astounding. Last year I thought we were so busy we couldn’t see straight and this year bed bug calls are up 200% over last year.

Please be smart and if you have bed bugs or think you have bed bugs ask for help. Bed bugs are something that you should not tackle on your own. In fact I have never seen it done, I know it has happened, but I have personally never seen it. When choosing a professional, they should be able to answer every question you have about bed bugs or find someone else. They should have a clear plan and be very specific.

Dr. Oz on Bed Bugs

Dr. Oz featured bed bugs on his show a couple days ago. The little pests are becoming a huge problem and we are glad that the word is spreading. The more people that are aware of the problem and educated about them, the better ability we have to control them.

Bed Bug University

We are hosting Bed Bug University at the University of Utah next Wednesday January the 27th at 9 am. We will be discussing bed bug biology, how they spread, how to detect, treatment options, latest research findings, and everything else that has to do with bed bugs. This will be an in depth look at bed bugs and not just things you can read on the internet. This seminar will be geared towards the hotel and hospital industry but anyone is welcome to come. The admittance fee is just $5. Please give us a call for more information.
